The team from neTTheatre met in Wroclaw for the workshop with Professor Marya Lowry (Head of Acting – MFA Theatre Program at Brandeis University, Waltham, Massachusetts). The training on Voice and Empathetic Listening was particularly useful since the Polish team is preparing Hideout, an original theatre play for Songs of My Neighbours (to be presented in August 2014, check out our Events page). During World War 2, many Polish Jews were forced into hiding in order to survive. Hideout is inspired by some of their stories and focuses on the sounds that they could hear from the outside world as they were hiding.
Participants: Paweł Passini, Daniel Moński, Katarzyna Tadeusz, Maria Porzyc, Joanna Kaczmarek, Beata Kucharska.
Location: Teatr Współczesny, Wroclaw.
Dates: 12-14 December, 2013.
Check out the training sessions in Italy and Cyprus.
